چکیده
The rotational frequency response function (RFRF) plays a crucial role in increasing the accuracy of calculated results frequency-based substructuring method. However, RFRFs are often omitted due to difficulties measurement process and limitations equipment. This paper presents scheme estimating FRF an irregular plate structure using FE model reduction expansion reduced was introduced improved system (IRS) expanded experimental modal (EMA model) (SEREP) method then employed derive translational FRFs from EMA model. evaluated with plate. It found that estimated proposed were good agreement counterparts. Furthermore, patterns well correlated RFRFs. work shows may offer attractive alternative way accurately determining RFRs complex structures or structural components.

On Estimating Frequency Response Function Envelopes using the Spectral Element Method and Fuzzy Sets
The influence of uncertain input data on response spectra of dynamic structures is considered. Traditionally, frequency response analyses are based on finite or boundary element models of the objective structure. In the case of the mid-frequency range problem, however, a very fine mesh is required to correctly approximate the frequency response. This is particularly problematic in uncertainty m...
متن کاملStructural Damage Identification of Plate Structures based on Frequency Response Function and Natural Frequencies
In this paper, a structural damage identification method (SDIM) is developed for plate-like structures. This method is derived using dynamic equation of undamaged/damaged plate, in which local change in flexural rigidity is characterized utilizing a damage distribution function. The SDIM requires to modal data in the intact state and frequency response of damage state where most of vibration ba...

Cyclic averaging, as a method for reducing the leakage ermr in the estimatian of frequency response functions, is a simple and effective method that can be implemented in any data acquisit ion system. With the widespread availability of multikbamel data acqtisition systems, cyclic averaging may be the easiest approach to minimizing the huncation effect, known as leakage, that DccllIs when time ...
متن کاملEstimating a Polya Frequency Function
The problem of estimating a unimodal density and its mode has attracted a wide interest in the literature, beginning with the work of Barlow [1], Prakasa Rao, [7], Robertson, [8], and Wegman [13], [14] and continuing through [9], [2], [3], [5], and [4], who can be consulted for further references. Asymptotic properties of the maximum likelihood estimators have been developed but may be messy an...
متن کاملNonparametric time-variant frequency response function estimates using arbitrary excitations
The time-variant frequency response function (TV-FRF) uniquely characterizes the dynamic behaviour of a linear timevariant (LTV) system. This paper proposes a method for estimating nonparametrically the dynamic part of the TV-FRF from known input, noisy output observations. The arbitrary time-variation of the TV-FRF is modelled by Legendre polynomials. In opposition to existing solutions, the p...
